The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates launches new services at the Electronic Consular Center

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has launched today the service of issuing a passport to all citizens who request a passport for the first time and are registered with the Directorate of Civil Status in Syria, provided that they are not over 18 years old, and the citizen’s guardian is the applicant.

The Ministry explained in a statement on its official Facebook page that it also launched the “fast” passport service, where the passport  is issued and sent within 48 hours from the date of receiving the documents, bearing in mind  that the period for issuing the passport  is  usually14 days from the date of receiving the documents.

The Ministry indicated that the new services have been added to the group of electronic services in the electronic consular center.
