The Ministry of Education completes a Syrian paper to participate in the Education Transformation Summit in New York

Damascus (ST): The Ministry of Education completed a Syrian working paper in order to participate in the Education Transformation Summit to be held in New York during September 2022 on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Syrian paper titled (Transforming Education in the Light of Wars and Disasters – Education in the Syrian Arab Republic as an example), deals with three main topics related to the transformation of education, namely (health prevention programs from the dangers of the Coronavirus and topics of transformational education and its challenges in cases of disasters and wars, and the requirements of young people to develop education in Syria.

The paper also includes a presentation on what has been achieved in Syria to maintain the continuity of the educational process despite the conditions of war and epidemics that have occurred, in addition to the mechanisms through which education has been transformed from traditional to skilled to enhance the learner’s personality and make him socially able to understand the surroundings around him and to have skills to develop his educational capabilities and consequently his direct entry into the labor market, in addition to presenting the weaknesses and strengths of the Syrian educational system, how the war affected it, how to address it, and the opinion of young people on the future of education.
