The Ministry of Economy and Industry discusses ways to enhance cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme

The Assistant Minister of Economy and Industry, Engineer Muhammad Yassin Houriya, met with representatives from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to discuss ways to enhance cooperation, particularly in the area of industrial infrastructure for small and medium-sized enterprises and industrial zones.

During the meeting held today at the ministry’s headquarters, it was agreed to organize sessions with both the public and private sectors to assess needs and develop a work plan aimed at revitalizing and developing industrial areas, as well as creating financing mechanisms for struggling projects.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Ayman Hamwi, Head of the Syrian Investment Authority.
