The Minister of Public Works holds Discussions with the Abu Dhabi Investment and Development Group Cooperation in Housing and Reconstruction Projects

The Minister of Public Works and Housing, Mustafa Abdul Razak discussed with a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Group for Investment and Development (ADIG), the ways of future cooperation, especially housing and re-construction projects.

Minister Abdul Razzaq stressed the importance of studying the offers submitted by the group, expressing his aspiration to strengthen cooperation with the group and take advantage of their expertise and advanced technologies to improve infrastructure and provide innovative and sustainable solutions that meet the needs of citizens.‏
The use of modern techniques for conducting aerial and ground surveys, which contribute to the identification of affected areas, which then helps to make decisions about the priorities for intervention, was discussed. The importance of the use of building materials with good specifications and low cost was also stressed.
The delegation of the Abu Dhabi Group for Investment and Development reviewed their successful experiences in Kuala Lumpur and some Turkish cities, highlighting their efficiency in dealing with similar projects. They emphasized the importance of establishing public-private partnerships to promote cooperation and success in housing and re-construction projects.
