The Minister of Interior Discusses with  Indian Ambassador  Cooperation Relations between the two countries

Damascus-( ST)- The Minister of Interior, Major General Muhammad al-Rahmoun, discussed with the Ambassador of the Republic of India, Irshad Ahmed, in Damascus ways to enhance and develop joint cooperation relations between the two friendly countries in various fields, especially combating terrorism.

Minister Al-Rahmoun stressed the ministry’s keenness to take care of the interests of the Indian community in Damascus and provide all facilities to them, expressing thanks and appreciation to the Republic of India for the support it provides to Syria in international forums, and the Republic of India’s rejection of foreign interference in Syria’s internal affairs.

For his part, the Indian ambassador in Damascus pointed out the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two friendly countries in all fields, expressing his country’s pride in the historical relations with Syria.
