The Minister of Industry discusses with the UAE Ambassador enhancing cooperation in industrial projects and investment

The Minister of Industry Abdul Qadir Joukhadar discussed with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Damascus, Hassan Al-Shehhi ways to enhance cooperation between Syria and the Emirates in the industrial field, in line with the depth of historical ties between the peoples of the two brotherly countries.
Minister Jokhadar appreciated the positions of the UAE and its support for the Syrian people and said: “We look forward to more joint cooperation in the economic and industrial sector and increasing investment opportunities in industrial projects.”
For his part, Ambassador Al-Shehhi stressed his country’s keenness on Arab national security and ensuring the strengthening of relations between Arab countries in all fields, and further stressed the importance of continuing bilateral meetings to achieve fruitful progress in areas of joint cooperation in the economic sector.
During the meeting, Al-Shehhi invited the Minister of Industry to attend the 13th edition of the AIM Investment Summit, which will be held next month in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
