The Minister of Finance discusses with the Bahraini ambassador ways to enhance financial and banking cooperation

Finance Minister Dr. Kinan Yaghi discussed with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Damascus, Wahid Mubarak Sayyar, means of enhancing cooperation relations between the two countries in the financial, banking and customs fields. 

During the meeting held today at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance in Damascus, Minister Yaghi referred to the bilateral agreement between the two sides in the field of avoiding double taxation and tax evasion. 

He indicated that there is a draft agreement for mutual administrative cooperation in the customs field. 

The two sides agreed on the need to activate the bilateral agreements between the two countries, and to continue coordination regarding various fields of cooperation.
