The Minister of Culture discusses with the Pakistani ambassador the exchange of cultural products and experiences

Damascus (ST): The Minister of Culture, Dr. Lubana Mushawah, discussed with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Syria, Shahid Akhtar, the strengthening of cooperation in all cultural fields and the exchange of cultural products and experiences, which would shed light on the creative movement and cultural heritage of the two friendly countries.
During the meeting, which was held  at the Ministry of Culture building, the cultural reality in both countries was reviewed, stressing the importance of developing cultural relations and expanding their horizons.
The two sides discussed the possibility of exchanging cinematic weeks, exchanging music band leaders, translating books on Pakistani literature and thought within the national translation plan, and the possibility of providing scholarships for Syrian students wishing to specialize in subjects related to antiquities and arts.
