The Minister of Culture discusses with the Iranian Governor of Shiraz, strengthening cultural relations and exchanging experiences
Tehran (ST): The Minister of Culture, Dr. Lubana Mshaweh, discussed with the Governor of the Iranian city of Shiraz, Muhammad Hadi Imaniya, the cultural relations between Syria and Iran and the importance of strengthening them by exchanging cultural experiences.
During the meeting, Dr. Mshaweh drew attention to the experiences of the Syrian Ministry of Culture in the field of adult education and launching community development by creating cultural centers in prisons, qualitative courses for popular culture in all governorates, and rehabilitating generations in music and theater and in various types of plastic arts.
The two sides discussed the possibility of exchanging cultural weeks between Shiraz and the Syrian provinces, cooperating in the field of the film industry, translating Iranian literature into Arabic, and transferring the production of Syrian writers into Persian.
In turn, the Governor reviewed the cultural and tourism reality in Shiraz, expressing his readiness for all areas of cultural cooperation and the provision of scholarships for Syrian students.
