The military escalation continues heavily in the Nagorno Karabakh region

On October 6th night, the battles renewed in the Nagorno Karabakh region, as Stepanakert, the capital of the region, witnessed  heavy bombardment accompanied by strong explosions, the nature of which has not yet been determined

“ The Azerbaijani forces thwarted an attempt to target the gas pipeline, which occupies a special position in energy security in Europe and represents the largest strategic project in the region,” Russia Today quoted the Azerbaijani prosecutor  as saying.

Armenia denied these accusations, while the Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman, Artzron Ovanessian, declared that his country has repeatedly confirmed that the oil infrastructure is not its goal.

To that, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan described the military operations launched by Baku in Nagorny Karabakh with the support of the Turkish regime as a continuation of the Armenian genocide and the restoration of the Turkish empire.

The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskovhas announced  that Russia has intelligence information about the Turkish regime’s transfer of terrorists from Syria to the conflict zone in the region and that it is carefully studying all information related to this matter.
