The mercenaries of the Turkish regime cut down hundreds of olive trees in occupied Afrin

The mercenaries of the Turkish occupation of the terrorist organizations cut down hundreds of fruit bearing  and forest trees from the Afrin area in the northern countryside of Aleppo during the past few days in order to sell them to Turkish brokers and traders.

Local sources said that terrorists affiliated with the so-called “Sultan Murad”, “Al-Nukhba Army”, “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya“, “Al-Hamza Division” and “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” cut down hundreds of fruitful and forest trees in the villages of Medanki, Hammam, MarwaniyahMiskaTataraTeranda and Ain Al-Hajar.

The sources warned of an environmental and economic catastrophe as a result of the terrorists’ continued cutting down of trees, which leads to the loss of many citizens, their main source of income and the elimination of vegetation cover and then desertification

The people of Afrin continuously denounce the criminal practices of the Turkish occupation mercenaries against the civilian population and the mercenaries’ crackdown measures to enforce civilians to leave their homes and lands to seize them.
