The ME Council of Churches calls for revealing the fate of two bishops of Aleppo who were abducted in 2013

BEIRUT, (ST)_The Middle East Council of Churches has appealed to the international community and humanitarian organizations to reveal the fate of  Bishop Yohanna Ibrahim, head of the Syriac Orthodox Church [in Aleppo] and Bishop Boulos Yaziji, head of the Greek Orthodox Church [in Aleppo], who were abducted by terrorist groups. 
 
The two bishops were abducted while they were on humanitarian operations in the village of Kafr Dael in Aleppo Province on April, 22, 2013. 
 
The Council’s Secretary General Michel Absi pointed out that condemnations and rejection of all forms of extremism and terrorism have not achieved nothing.
