The martyrdom of resistance icon

Under the so-called right of “self-defense”, the US-backed Israeli entity has sought to expand its genocidal war in the region, and this time it targeted Lebanon, with massive raids that killed hundreds of people including women and children, amid the deadly and shameful silence of western governments over this Israeli criminality.
The recent violent raids on Lebanon regrettably led to the martyrdom of the resistance icon, Secretary General of Lebanese National Resistance Movement, Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, an unrivaled figure, the region’s top Resistance personality, and the pillar protecting Lebanon’s sovereignty from the Israeli occupation and its Zionist project in Lebanon and the region. He was martyred after a life of sacrifice in defense of Palestine and Lebanon against the Israeli occupation.
Looking back to the martyr’s achievements, one can say that over almost four decades, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, managed to restore to the oppressed their sense of pride, dignity and their courage in protecting their countries after the usurping entity invaded Beirut and the South in 1982 and committed the most heinous massacres against civilians, burned libraries and cultural centers, and assassinated writers, poets and activists.
The leader of the Lebanese Resistance took it upon himself to build a resistance movement, brick by brick, on a moral, social and political basis to face the terrorism and barbarism of the Zionists. He worked to spread the culture of resistance and raise its generations on high morals committed to the spirit of the Holy Quran and the morals of the messengers and righteous people. Through his great strategic work, he became an icon of the culture of committed and responsible resistance that led to the liberation of South Lebanon from the Israeli occupation in 2000 and the expulsion of the enemy from this region despite the imbalance in power.
What is humiliating is to see a terrorist like Netanyahu standing on the podium of the United Nations General Assembly to speak proudly about his entity’s terrorism, killing tools and crimes that should shake the conscience of the entire humanity.
