The Maritime Security Belt 2022 maneuvers start with the participation of Iran, Russia and China

The “Maritime Security Belt 2022” maneuvers under the slogan “Together for Peace and Security” were launched this morning with the participation of warships and aircraft of the navies of Iran, Russia and China, in the northern Indian Ocean.

 

The spokesman for the exercises, Colonel Bahri Mustafa Taj Al-Diny, said, “The maneuvers are held according to the plans drawn up in the northern Indian Ocean, and their aim is to consolidate security and its pillars in the region, expand multilateral cooperation between the three countries, and show goodwill and the ability of these countries in the path of joint support for global peace and maritime security and the creation of a maritime family. with a common future.”

Taj al-Diny pointed out that the maneuvers include conducting various tactical exercises on rescuing ships under fire, liberating hijacked ships, shooting at specific targets and air targets, and other tactical and operational exercises.
