The Maritime Forces of the Ministry of Defense conducted a comprehensive campaign aimed at people-smuggling boats

According to a statement from the Ministry of Defense last night the campaign resulted in several hours of clashes, during which numerous smugglers were arrested.

Additionally, weapons and equipment in their possession were seized. The Ministry confirmed that the smugglers were handed over to the appropriate security authorities for prosecution. This operation is part of the Ministry of Defense’s ongoing efforts to combat smuggling activities.
