The Lebanese resistance shoots down an Israeli drone over the border with occupied Palestine 

The Lebanese resistance shot down an armed Israeli enemy drone using a surface-to-air missile over the border areas with occupied Palestine.

The resistance said in a statement today: “After midnight on Wednesday, Thursday, while an armed Israeli enemy drone was flying over the border areas with occupied Palestine in the airspace of the villages of Al-Malikiyah and Hunin, the resistance targeted the plane with a surface-to-air missile, and it was hit directly, which led to its fall and crash immediately.”

In a related context, the Israeli occupation forces renewed their violations of Lebanese sovereignty. Last night the occupation warplanes carried out aistrikes on the vicinity of the towns of Ramiya and Al-Quzah in Nabatieh, while their artillery fired a number of shells on the vicinity of the towns of Alma Al-Shaab and Aita Al-Shaab.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Israeli enemy also fired flares in the skies of the western and central sectors throughout last night, while spy aircrafts intensified their flights in the skies of the western sector.
