The Lebanese parliament again fails to elect a president

On December 15th, the Lebanese parliament failed again to elect a new president for the republic.

The Lebanese National News Agency stated that none of the candidates obtained two-thirds of the votes of the 128-member Parliament during today’s session.

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri did not set a date for the next session to elect the president.
