The Lebanese Foreign minister discusses with Ambassador Abdel Karim the relations between the two countries

On September 22nd, the Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdullah Bou Habib, discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdel Karim ways to develop and strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

 After the meeting, Ambassador Abdel Karim said: “ The meeting is an opportunity to take advantage of all circumstances to strengthen brotherly relations between the two countries.”

 He stressed that the unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syria have had negative effects on Lebanon.

  Abdul Karim stressed the need to raise the level of economic relationships and cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and understanding the points that would allow the Syrians to return to their country and rebuild what terrorism destroyed there.
