The Jordanian People’s Committee for Breaking the Siege on Syria condemns the Israeli aggression on Damascus

The Jordanian People’s Committee for relief of people affected by the earthquake and for breaking the siege on Syria strongly condemned the Israeli aggression against Damascus, as well as the terrorist crime committed by ISIS in the eastern countryside of Homs.

A statement issued by the People’s Committee said: This new aggression comes to perpetuate the aggressive nature of the Zionist entity integrated with the American-backed ISIS terrorism at a time when Syria is suffering the most severe conditions, as a result of the horrific earthquake that claimed the lives of thousands of its citizens, and destroyed and displaced hundreds of thousands of families.

The statement added: “As we condemn this aggression, we are aware that the reactionary, takfiri, Zionist-American aggression against Syria, which has been going on for thirteen years, is due to Syria’s principled commitment to supporting and adopting national causes, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause and due to Syria’s support for the Lebanese and Palestinian resistance. We again declare our position in support of Syria in the face of aggression and the American and Western imperialist blockade.

The People’s Committee called on all Arab people to assume their national responsibilities towards Syria, to stand firmly by its side, to provide Syria with all forms of support and to struggle relentlessly to break the unjust siege imposed on this by the Western imperialist powers and their tools.
