The Islamic Christian Organization for the Support of Jerusalem calls on the international community to stop settlement in the city

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Islamic Christian Organization for the Support of Jerusalem, called on the international community to stop Israeli settlement operations in the Holy City.

The Organization said in a statement on Wednesday, carried by Wafa Agency that diplomatic condemnations are no longer sufficient to stop the escalation of the Israeli settlement occupation, which aims to empty the city of the Palestinian presence. It stressed the need for the international community to break its silence before the situation explodes.

The Organization warned of the danger of the plan recently announced by the occupation to establish 2,430 new settlement units in Al-Quds (Jerusalem), and to build settlement roads linking a number of settlements established in the city. It indicated that the plan aims to consolidate the settlement presence, seize hundreds of dunams of land, and besiege and suffocate Palestinian neighborhoods. and permanently isolating Al-Quds from its Palestinian surroundings.
