The Israeli occupation entity’s defeat in the battle in Gaza serves the national interest of the region’s countries: Lebanese Resistance leader

Beirut-(ST)_ Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah has affirmed that the Israeli occupation has failed to achieve its goals in Gaza Strip after 130 days of continuous massacres against the Palestinian people thanks to the legendary steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance.

Sayyed Nasrallah said in yesterday’s speech on the occasion of the Day of the Wounded of Resistance: “When the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip stops, we will cease fire in south Lebanon. The job of the resistance is to deter the enemy, and our responses will be proportionate,” stressing that the resistance today is more certain and stronger in its resolve to confront the enemy at any level of confrontation.

Sayyed Nasrallah added: The goal of the resistance operations in south Lebanon aim at voicing  solidarity with the Palestinian people, and putting pressure on the Zionist enemy and exhausting it in order to stop its aggression against Gaza Strip and relieve pressure on the Strip on the ground, indicating that Lebanon has a deterrent force, and the resistance is the one that regains the land, protects dignity, and returns the displaced to their homes. It also put an end to the ambitions of the Israeli occupation.

Sayyed Nasrallah pointed out that, in the light of the ongoing genocidal massacres taking place in  Gaza Strip, the emergence of the occupying entity defeated and broken from this battle is a victory for the Palestinian people, and it is a national interest for the countries of the region.

Sayyed Nasrallah considered that what happened and is happening to the people in Gaza Strip – the severe siege, terror, harsh conditions, and brutal bombing targeting homes, churches, mosques, hospitals, and camps – must shake the conscience of the entire world which must assume its responsibilities in the face of this aggression and this humanitarian catastrophe.
