Tens of Palestinians were martyred and injured today as a result of the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression for the thirty-second day against the besieged Gaza Strip, in addition to the destruction of dozens of homes and the inability of hospitals to provide their services to the wounded and sick due to the siege and the occupation’s prevention of the entry of fuel and basic needs.
Palestinian media reported that ,during the past hours the occupation aircraft launched a series of raids on Palestinian homes east and center of Khan Yunis and various areas of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip, Beit Lahia and Bir al-Naja to its north, also the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital and Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza, which led to the martyrdom of more than 50 Palestinians while dozens were injured.
The occupation aircraft also bombed homes, residential apartments, kindergartens, roads and infrastructure in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in southern Gaza, causing dozens to die and wounding others, while there are still missing people in the vicinity of the place, where the infrastructure was severely damaged.
The occupation warships fired heavy shells at Al-Shatae camp and the vicinity of the port area west of Gaza and the western entrance to the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Strip, while its artillery bombarded the eastern areas of Rafah, south of it.
The information office in Gaza explained that, since the beginning of the aggression, hospitals in the Gaza Strip have received a wounded person every minute and 15 martyrs every hour, indicating that the average number of martyrs among children is 6 per hour, and 5 among females per hour, while 70 percent of the population of the Gaza Strip has become forcibly displaced from their homes because of the bombing.
The office indicated that half of the hospitals in the Gaza Strip and 62 percent of primary care centers stopped and were effectively out of service, and 50 percent of the housing units were damaged and 10 percent of them were completely demolished or became uninhabitable, while 33 percent of schools were damaged and 9 percent of them went out of service, in addition to 14 percent of mosques were damaged and 5 percent of them were demolished.
The office indicated that the occupation bombed the Gaza Strip since the beginning of its aggression on October 7th with 30,000 tons of explosives, with an average of 82 tons per square kilometer.
