The Israeli occupation announces a new settlement plan in occupied Al Quds

Yesterday evening, the Israeli occupation authorities announced a new settlement plan southeast of the occupied city of Al Quds (Jerusalem).

Wafa Agency reported that the new plan aims to establish 1,738 settlement units, which threatens to isolate the neighborhoods of Beit Safafa and Sharafat from the rest of the east of the Holy City and thus isolate Bethlehem from the city of Al Quds.

The agency indicated that the occupation is trying to seize the lands located east of the occupied city of Al Quds (Jerusalem) to perpetuate a settlement and Judaization reality that turns Palestinian cities and towns into areas isolated from each other in exchange for linking the settlements and implementing colonial annexation plans.

The occupation announced a settlement plan last September to establish 3,500 settlement units southeast of the occupied city of Al Quds (Jerusalem).
