Today, the Israeli enemy forces renewed their attacks on medical and rescue crews and ambulances, injuring 4 Lebanese Red Cross paramedics and damaging two ambulances in one of their raids at the intersection of the town of Sarbin on the Kafra main road.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the Lebanese Red Cross as saying in a statement today: “Four of our paramedics were injured and two ambulances were damaged after enemy warplanes targeted them while they were working under UNIFIL’s permission in a house that was previously targeted by an enemy raid in the town of Sarbin in south Lebanon.”
For its part, the operations room of the Islamic Medical Association in Sidon announced in a statement that a number of people were injured as a result of an airstrike on a building in the Baqsta-Sharhabeel area.
The Israeli enemy escalates its attacks on villages and towns in southern and eastern Lebanon
The Israeli enemy also escalated its attacks on most Lebanese towns and villages over the past hours, causing more casualties and damage to property.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health as saying in a statement: “An air strike carried out by enemy aircraft this morning on a building in the town of Romine resulted in two people being seriously injured and the building being completely destroyed. Another enemy strike on the Civil Defense Center of the Health Authority in Aitat, Tyre District, resulted in two people being injured”.
The Center added that “12 people were injured in enemy raids on Tamnin-Baalbek Al Hermel, and another enemy raid caused significant material damage to three hospitals in the center of the southern city of Nabatieh.”
The enemy’s warplanes also launched a series of violent raids on the southern town of Khiyam, on Brital-Baalbek-Hermel, and on the districts of Tyre and Bint Jbeil, targeting throughout the early hours of the morning the towns of Dahra, Naqoura, Aita al-Shaab, Ramieh, and Maroun. It also fired its heavy machine guns towards the forests adjacent to the towns of Ramieh, Aita al-Shaab, and Rmeish, and a number of heavy direct shells fell on the outskirts of Naqoura. The Israeli enemy’s raids also destroyed a three-storey building next to the Ghabris station on the Zefta-Nabatieh highway and an old mosque in the center of the town of Kfar Tibnit.
