Beirut (ST) – The Israeli enemy continued its brutal attacks, raids and shelling on Lebanese villages, towns and cities, leaving more than 8 martyrs, many wounded civilians and material damages in the past few hours.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the Public Health Emergency Operations Centre of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health as saying in a statement that a person was martyred in the southern town of Khiyam as a result of an Israeli enemy drone raid.
Three other citizens were also martyred as a result of an enemy raid that targeted a house housing displaced persons in Ibl al-Saqi, Marjeyoun District.
The raid also resulted in the injury of the priest of the St. George Greek Orthodox Parish in the town.
In the town of Aba in the Western Bekaa, a man and a woman were martyred and another person was injured as a result of Israeli enemy raids on the town, which led to the destruction of a house in the centre of the town, while a raid targeting the town of Rafid resulted in the death of a martyr and the injury of several others.
In addition, an enemy raid on the old Saray neighborhood in the city of Nabatieh resulted in the injury of 3 people and the complete destruction of two buildings and the partial destruction of a third.
The Lebanese Islamic Message Scouts announced the martyrdom of one of its paramedics from the town of Kafra in an Israeli enemy attack while he was carrying out his duties.
The Israeli enemy had previously renewed its attacks with random shelling on the towns of the Baalbek and Hermel districts in eastern Lebanon, targeting the town of Shaat and its surroundings with four raids, launching two raids on the town of Tamnin al-Tahta, and shelling the towns of Bednayel and Shamstar.
The aggression targeted a fuel station and a firewood warehouse next to it, about 500 meters from the Nabaa Adous area, and one of the raids targeted for the first time a hill on the side of the Ainata-Arz road that connects the Bekaa and the North Governorate.
Earlier today, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the number of victims of the massacre committed by the Israeli enemy in Ain al-Delb in southern Lebanon had risen to 45 martyrs.
