The Iranian Revolutionary Guard targets Ayn al-Assad base in Iraq with dozens of ballistic missiles in response to the assassination of General Soleimani
Tehran,(ST)-The underground force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced targeting Ain al-Assad base in western Iraq, in which American forces are present with dozens of ballistic missiles, in response to the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani and his companions.
Fars News Agency quoted the Iranian Revolutionary Guards as saying in a statement that dozens of missiles of the underground force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards targeted Ain Al-Assad base, which includes the American forces in Iraq.
He added that the missiles are “ground to ground” type and were launched from the city of Islamabad in western Iran.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards warned Washington that any other American aggression or move would face a more painful and harsh response, and also warned countries that have American bases, that these bases will targeted if an attack against Iran is launched from them, stressing that the Zionist entity is not considered in any way separate from the United States.
The Revolutionary Guards demanded that the American people call back the American soldiers from the region to prevent further losses and not to allow the lives of the American soldiers to be threatened because of the growing hatred of America.
Iranian media indicated that a second wave of missile attacks took place on the American base of Ayn al-Assad in Iraq after the first wave of heavy missile strikes, confirming that all the missiles that struck their targets in the American bases in Iraq with high accuracy, pointing to targeting the base of Ayn al-Assad with 35 missiles until now that American base of Ayn al-Assad has requested a medical team without information on the number of wounded.
Iranian media also confirmed that in the event of any American error, it is possible that there will be a third wave of missile launches on American bases, noting that the American defenses were unable to shoot down any of the Iranian missiles. and noted that the leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Ali Khamenei, visited the Military headquarters of the Iranian operations to follow up on the bombing of US bases in Iraq.
Iranian media have indicated that the underground forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards have declared full preparedness of the Iranian missile bases located 500 meters underground and spread in all provinces and cities of the country to hit predetermined targets in the event of necessity.
“The bones of Americans in the region are now being shattered and their voices are rising,” the media quoted the Commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard General Ismail Qaani as saying, and that Iran had informed the Secretary General of the United Nations and the International Security Council that Iran was not seeking war but warned of any military adventures against them.
Iranian Fars News Agency indicated that the “Fatih 313” ballistic missiles are medium-range with a range of 500 km, which were used to bomb US bases in Iraq.
The Iraqi media, in turn, drew attention to the flight of American forces outside the Ain al-Assad base after being subjected to an Iranian missile strike.
To that, the US Department of Defense confirmed that two American military bases in Iraq were subjected to intense Iranian missile strikes, while a US military official indicated to Reuters that American military sites in Iraq were subject to missile attacks, including Ein Al-Assad base.
In a related context, Agence France-Presse reported that US future investment fell more than 1 percent, while the price of a barrel of oil jumped more than 4.5 percent after the Iranian missile response.
