The Iranian President receives Major General Mamlouk

On March 1st, The Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi received in Tehran the Head of the National Security Bureau Major General Ali Mamlouk, who conveyed the greetings of President Bashar Al-Assad to the Iranian president, people and government.

Major General Mamlouk affirmed to the Iranian president that Syria is categorically determined to eliminate terrorism, liberate all Syrian lands and rebuild what was destroyed by the war.

Major General Mamlouk stressed the importance of strengthening the existing strategic relations between Iran and Syria in various fields.

The Iranian president stressed the need to preserve the unity and sovereignty of the Syrian territories, explaining that the United States of America seeks to perpetuate the security and economic problems it created for Syria.

President Raisi pointed out that the arrogant states’ hostility to the peoples of the region has not diminished, noting the steadfastness and sacrifices of the Syrian people in the face of terrorism.

Major General Mamlouk said that Syria will never forget Iran’s support for it in the face of terrorists, stressing the continuation of cooperation between the two countries in this field and that it is in the interest of supporting the security of the region and its peoples and thwarting all plans aimed at destabilizing security and spreading chaos.

Major General Mamlouk pointed out that there are wide areas of joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields, pointing out that strengthening cooperation thwarts the enemies’ plans to undermine the steadfastness of the peoples of the two countries.

In addition, the Iranian president pointed to the importance of economic cooperation between the two countries in various fields and the need to remove existing obstacles to expanding economic relations in order to develop the current strategic relations between the two countries.

The Iranian president commemorated the martyrs of the fight against terrorism, including the martyr Qassem Soleimani.

The Iranian president said that Syria is the first line of confrontation with the Zionist entity, calling for unity between Islamic countries and peoples to confront this usurping entity and its arrogance.
