The Iranian Presidency reiterates its commitment to the territorial integrity of Syria

Tehran, (ST) – The Iranian presidency reiterated the need to commit to the territorial integrity of Syria.

“The stance of Iran is clear regarding the crisis in Syria,” President Mahmoud Waezey office said, adding that “the territorial integrity of Syria must be preserved.”

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has stressed its rejection of the Turkish aggression on Syrian territories, calling for respect for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In Baku, , Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that
US addiction to sanctions against members of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and some major powers is weakening the foundations of international relations and posing a threat to hundreds of millions of people around the world.

“West Asia is the biggest victim of anti-world actions,” Zarif said in a speech at the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Baku, and the Palestinians are one of the most important objectives of the Non-Aligned Movement,” he added.

Zarif condemned Washington’s illegal positions in its declaration that the occupied Syrian Golan belongs to the Israeli occupation entity and occupied al- Quds as the capital of this entity, pointing to the occupation of more Palestinian territories by the Zionists because of blind American support and short-sightedness of some developing countries in the region.
US threats of military attack on Iran is a hoax to cover up the humiliating enemies, says Hatami

On the other hand, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier Amir Hatami said that the recent US threats to launch a military attack on Iran are a trick to cover up the enemies’ humiliation.

“There is no doubt that if they commit the slightest folly, they will be further humiliated compared to their previous steps. These statements are nothing but a hoax to cover up their humiliation,” he said in a statement.
