The Iranian Foreign Ministry summons the Chargé d’Affaires of the British Embassy in protest against her government’s hostile policies
Tehran (ST): The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Chargé d’Affaires of the British Embassy in Tehran, Isabelle March, in protest against the British government’s anti-Iran approach.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried by the Fars News Agency: “In protest against the unfounded accusations issued by the British government against Iran, the Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the Chargé d’Affaires of the British Embassy in Tehran, Isabelle March, and handed her an official protest note.”
The statement called on the British government to refrain from making flimsy and unfounded accusations, calling on London to “stop taking an unfriendly approach towards Iran.”
