The Industrial Company for Ready-to-Wear in Aleppo produces various types of ready-to-wear

Aleppo, (ST) – The Industrial Company for Ready-to-Wear “Zanobia and Shamra” in the Ain Al-Tal area in Aleppo city continues to produce and manufacture various types of ready-made garments, including work clothes, ready-made sets, blackboards, sportswear, and general surgery supplies.

The company’s general manager, Ammar Al-Yousef, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the company is one of the first companies to return to production, after it was destroyed and sabotaged by terrorist groups.

Al-Yousef added that various collections of ready-made garments are manufactured through four production lines, at a rate ranging between 150 and 200 pieces per day. He pointed out that the production stages start with cutting, sewing and  stitching , and then packaging the product, and sending it to the contracting parties, or direct selling through sales outlets distributed in several governorates.

Al-Youssef said that the company seeks to manufacture various types of casual wear, jeans and sportswear with high quality and reasonable prices, and to sell in the local markets and their outlets, pointing out that the most important difficulties facing the production process are the lack of expert manpower.

The Director of Production at Zenobia and Shamra Hall, Eng. Malak Hamach, talked about the company’s manufacturing stages, which start with cutting the raw cloth that is imported from public sector institutions, working on its manufacture according to custom drawings and templates, distributing it on production lines, and monitoring manufacturing and production processes by quality controllers.

Hamach added that the company includes a line for the production of medical supplies for general surgery, and was established in partnership with the private sector, and the line consists of three machines for the production of medical headgear, feet and surgical masks.
