The Indonesian Embassy and Diplomatic Club in Syria send humanitarian aid to quake-affected people in Aleppo
Aleppo, (ST)-A temporary shelter center in Al-Hailani School in Bustan Al-Qasr neighborhood in Aleppo, which is hosting families affected by the recent earthquake, on Monday received humanitarian aid, including food, clothes and blankets sent by the Diplomatic Club and the Indonesian Embassy in Syria.
“We came today to Aleppo to deliver some humanitarian aid collected by the embassy staff and Indonesian students to our brothers in Syria who were affected by the earthquake, to confirm our standing with our Syrian friends at this difficult time,” Wajid Fauzi, the Indonesian ambassador to Damascus, said.
Ambassador Wajid expressed his regret for the devastating earthquake that hit the cities of Syria. He offered his deep condolences on behalf of the Indonesian people and the staff of his country’s embassy. Ambassador Wajid hoped that this simple assistance would contribute to strengthening and strengthening relations between the peoples of the two countries.
In her turn, Radianti Fawzi, President of the Diplomatic Club in Syria, offered her deepest condolences to the victims of the devastating earthquake. She indicated that the ladies of the Diplomatic Club opened a center to collect donations, and they were transferred to the people affected by this earthquake as an expression of support for the families of the victims of the devastating earthquake.
