The inauguration of Shahba National Hospital in Sweida

Under the patronage of President Bashar al-Assad, the General Commission of Shahba National Hospital in Sweida Governorate was inaugurated today at a cost of more than 1.4 billion Syrian pounds. The Hospital is scheduled to serve about 125 thousand people in Shahba city and its villages.

The hospital consists of three floors, with a total floor area of 13,700 square meters,  a basement, an annex housing doctors,  and departments of  emergency,  general diseases,  dialysis,  general surgery intensive care, radiology and laboratory.

Minister of Health Dr. Nizar Yazagi, Minister of Local Administration and Environment Eng. Hussein Makhlouf, Governor of Sweida Amer Ibrahim Al-Ashi, Secretary of Sweida Branch of the Baath Arab Socialist Party Fawzat Shuqair and official, popular and party figures participated in the inauguration.
