The Supreme Investment Council, during its periodic meeting today, headed by the Prime Minister, Engineer Hussein Arnous, discussed the implementation of projects that were granted the investment license in accordance with Investment Law No. 18 of 2021, stressing the continuation of providing facilities to complete these projects and putting them into actual production on time.
These projects are mainly concentrated in the food industries sector with 10 projects, the chemical industries 8, the metallurgical 5, the electricity and energy industries 4, the pharmaceutical industries 3, the non-metallic industries and building materials 2 in addition to one project in each of the tourism and services sectors, the wood industry and its products, paper industries and textile industries.
Engineer Arnous stressed that production is a top priority for government work, stressing the importance of continuous follow-up to the implementation stages of each project on the ground and overcoming any obstacles to putting it into production within the specified time periods in order to create urban development in the areas close to the industrial cities in a way that secures the workforce and achieves sustainable and balanced development.
