The “Homeland Document” launches the book of the freed prisoner, the martyr Medhat Al-Saleh, the son of the occupied Syrian Arab Golan

Yaser Al-Saleh, brother of the martyr Medhat Al-Saleh, said that “martyrs are witnesses to the occupation’s crimes and to our legitimate rights,” stressing that the martyrdom of his brother makes his family feel proud as he was so brave and loyal to Golan, Palestine and the Arab nation.
He pointed out that the blood of the martyrs helps draw the homeland’s borders and deepens hope in getting rid of occupation through steadfastness, struggle and sacrifices.
On her part, Haddiya Abu Zeid, the wife of the martyr, said that “Medhat offered his sacred blood to our homeland, which we adore and never accept any other alternative for.” She reviewed some of the heroic deeds of the people in Golan in the confrontation of the Isareli occupation that affirm their insistence on not ceding an inch of the beloved homeland.
At the conclusion of the event, the first version of the book “The Liberated Prisoner Martyr Midhat Saleh son of the Occupied Syrian Golan” was presented to the family of the martyr.
The book sheds light on the Syrian Golan and its people and on issues relating to the prisoners and detainees in the Israeli jails through a documentary narrated by martyr Medhat Al-Saleh. The book also depicts the most important stops in the martyr’s process of struggle in defense of the homeland.
The book was based on 7 interviews with the martyr at “Wathiqat Watan” (Homeland Document) Organization in addition to an interview with his wife during which she talked about the moment the martyr was assassinated as she witnessed it.
