The Guardian: Networks Spread in Turkey to Provide ISIS Terrorists with Passports

The British Guardian newspaper revealed that networks are spreading in Turkey to provide ISIS Terrorists with passports and official visas. The Guardian indicated that this industry has become quite prosperous and allows terrorists and accomplices the opportunity to flee to Western countries, including Britain and the United States.

The Newspaper pointed out in its investigative report that one of these networks is run by a man from Uzbekistan who has links to extremist groups based in Turkey and he is now selling fake high-quality passports worth up to 15,000 dollars to different countries.

The newspaper pointed out that there were at least 10 cases in which people who crossed the Syrian border illegally to Turkey used these passports to leave through Istanbul airport, indicating that the Uzbek network is working very well and recently opened a new channel on the encrypted messaging application “Telegram” to market its business.

The newspaper went on to state that the growing trade in fake passports in Turkey indicates that dangerous extremists and terrorists can cross the radars of security services around the world and are likely to be able to continue their terrorist acts in countries other than Syria.

In addition, a source in the US Department of the Interior admitted that there is a certain vendor in Turkey who provides fake documents to ISIS terrorists, indicating that the United States is aware that ISIS terrorists use these forged passports to cross into Europe and that European security has not succeeded in arresting them all.

According to a memo issued lately by the US Treasury, the Turkish regime led by Recep Tayyip Erdogan played a role in financing the terrorist organization ISIS and the extremist organization’s networks are still able to access cash reserves estimated at about $100 million hidden in areas in the Middle East, especially in Turkey, and that the remnants of the terrorist organization in Syria are still receiving financial transfers from their partners stationed in Turkey.
