The Governor of Sweida and the Ambassador of Venezuela discuss ways of joint cooperation in investment projects
The meeting of the Governor of As-Suwayda, Eng. Bassam Parsec, with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jose Gregorio Biomorji Musatis, today dealt with ways of joint cooperation in the economic field and investment projects in the governorate.
During the meeting, which was held in the Sweida Governorate building, Parsik talked about the deep-rooted historical relations between Syria and Venezuela and the constant desire to strengthen them, especially with the presence of a large number of the Syrian community in Venezuela.
Parsik presented a map of investment opportunities and projects of great economic feasibility in Sweida , and the possibility of offering them to Venezuelan businessmen of Syrian origin.
For his part, the Venezuelan ambassador affirmed the desire and readiness to strengthen and push the bilateral relations between Syria and Venezuela to the highest levels.
In his turn, the head of the Syrian-Venezuelan Parliamentary Friendship Association, MueenNasr, pointed out to the necessity of upgrading economic and trade relations to the level of political and popular relations between the two countries, and expanding the horizons of joint cooperation.
During a meeting organized by the Venezuelan embassy with the Venezuelan community in the hall of the Sweida Governorate Council to answer their inquiries regarding consular affairs, Ambassador Biomorji noted the contribution of Syrian immigrants to Venezuela to support the Venezuelan government and people against the imperialist conspiracies.
Biomorji pointed out that the embassy has adopted new mechanisms that contribute to the acceleration and organization of consular work, and its aim is to give the Venezuelan community in Syria full and sufficient answers to any inquiries and to provide services with a higher efficiency.
