The Governor of Hasakeh inspects the reality of the displaced families in temporary shelters

Hasakeh (ST): Hasakeh Governor Ghassan Khalil inspected the reality of the displaced families in the temporary shelters that were opened for the displaced people from Ghweran neighborhood after the chaos that occurred in the vicinity of the Industrial Secondary School Prison and the bombing of civilian homes and infrastructure in the neighborhood by the planes of the American occupier .

 

During the tour, the governor stressed the continuation of government efforts to provide support and assistance to the displaced families from the southern neighborhoods, noting that their number exceeded 4,000, and 7 shelter centers were opened and the necessary services were provided such as blankets, mattresses and daily meals, through charities and under the direct supervision of the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in addition to the healthcare.

Khalil added that international organizations did not interfere during the past six days, and we asked them to visit the shelters to see the reality directly, and for these organizations to be effective and perform their specific role and provide assistance in light of evaluating these centers and knowing their needs.

During the governor’s tour, the families demanded the intervention of relief organizations to provide assistance and support in light of the large numbers, praising the government’s role and the efforts made to secure safe places and provide them with all basic services with the participation of all charities and civil initiatives.
