The Governor of Al-Hasakah discusses with humanitarian organizations response plans to face any displacement cases

On December 14th, Governor of Al-Hasakah, Dr. Louay Sayoh, discussed with the directors of the offices of humanitarian organizations and bodies operating in the governorate the emergency response plan to face the displacement cases resulting from any possible Turkish aggression on the region.

During the meeting, Sayoh referred to the efforts made by organizations and bodies working in the humanitarian field during the current year to alleviate the suffering of the people of the governorate from the unjust siege imposed on them by the American occupier and its allies.

He expressed the governorate’s readiness to provide all the necessary support and facilities to accomplish the work of the organizations and bodies.

He referred to the daily displacement of dozens of families from the northwestern countryside of Al-Hasakah Governorate, specifically from Abu Rasin and its villages, as a result of their exposure to the continuous Turkish aggression.

He indicated that an emergency committee was formed to supervise specific instructions and procedures to deal with cases of displacement from unsafe areas, including securing shelter, food and drink, and distributing relief aid.

For their part, the directors of the offices of humanitarian organizations and agencies indicated that they have drawn up emergency plans in the event of any displacement from the villages of the border strip when the area is subjected to any attack.
