The Global Gathering to support resistance: Syria is the Arab National Security Gate

Cairo (ST) – The Global Gathering to Support the Resistance Option renewed its full solidarity with Syria in the face of the plans and conspiracies it has been exposed to for more than a decade, stressing that Syria is the gateway to Arab national security.

This came during the delegation’s meeting with the Permanent Representative of Syria to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Hossam El-Din Ala, at the headquarters of the Syrian Embassy in Cairo on Wednesday.

The delegation included Assistant Secretary-General of the group Jamal Zahran head of the Nasserist National Accord Party Mohamed Refaat, and a number of Egyptian political, media, and academic figures.

Members of the delegation stressed the brotherly relations between the Egyptian and Syrian peoples, noting that Syria is the first defence line for Egypt and the gateway to the Arab national security.

They stated that the terrorist organizations present in Syria are funded externally and are implementing external plans, indicating that Syria succeeded in thwarting a conspiracy that no country had ever faced before.

During the meeting, Ambassador Ala gave a presentation on the situation in Syria, and the priorities of the Syrian state, which are eliminating terrorism, liberating all of the occupied Syrian territories, and developing the Syrian economy damaged by terrorism.

He noted that the seriousness of the stage requires strengthening Arab solidarity to confront the existential dangers threatening the Arab nation, especially in the light of the war of genocide and forced displacement launched by the Israeli occupation entity against the Palestinian people, to force them to leave their land and liquidate the Palestinian cause.
