“The Georgian National Legion” fights in Ukraine- Sputnik

OSCOW, March.7, (ST)-An informed source has announced that a sabotage and reconnaissance group called” The Georgian National Legion”, which took part in terrorist attacks in Afghanistan and Iraq, fights now in Ukraine in coordination with the Ukrainian forces.
 
The source told Sputnik that the direct coordinator of the legion’s financial support is the former Governor of the Ukrainian Odesa city Mikheil Saakashvili.
 
“Saakashvili travelled to the United States and held meetings with the Ukrainian and Georgian communities and US military organizations,” the source added.
 
The Georgian National Legion is composed of 25 members, who are working in Lugansk city.
