The former Slovak Prime Minister condemns the attack on the Military Academy in Homs

Former Slovak Prime Minister Ján Čarnogurský condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the graduation ceremony of military Academy officer students in Homs last Thursday, and led to dozens of martyrs and injured.

Čarnogurský said in a statement to SANA’s correspondent in Prague today: “This attack is a “disgusting” terrorist act that resulted in  many victims,” stressing the need to continue the fight against terrorism unabated until its gangs and organizations supported by foreign parties are uprooted.

The Slovak Communist Party, in turn, condemned this terrorist attack, calling for international institutions and organizations, most notably the Security Council, to fulfill its responsibilities towards this attack and condemn it, and to expose and hold accountable those who support the terrorist organizations that carried it out.
