Damascus (ST): The war-wounded Socrates Ahmed works in his job duties related to conducting agricultural research, studying soil samples and measuring fertility indicators. He also contributed to improving the quality of some cultivated varieties, which was reflected in the benefit of farmers in the region.
The Wounded Al-Watan Project explained in a post on its Facebook page that the wounded Ahmed obtained a doctorate in agricultural engineering from Tishreen University and exercises his duties in the management of the Scientific Research Center in Tartous, the Citrus Research Department, and continues his work in a number of farms scattered in the countryside of the governorate and conducts agricultural research that contributed to improving maize yield quality.
