Aleppo (ST): The Aleppo City Council has completed the works of the first project under the name “the industrial and craft zone for the maintenance and repair of cars in Jibreen”, east of the city of Aleppo, and the completion rate has exceeded 95 percent with 410 halls have been completed.
The Director of the Industrial and Crafts Zone in Jibreen, Engineer Ayman Haj Hamidi, said in a statement that the the area is estimated at 200 hectares and includes about 5,000 plots divided into four projects of metalworkers, blacksmiths, mechanics and electricity.
Hamidi pointed out that the halls’ infrastructure was served by the city council, including water, electricity, telecommunications and asphalting networks, while the halls were equipped by the Craftsman Association for the manufacture and maintenance of cars affiliated with the Union of Craftsmen, and the area of each hall varies according to its employment and the craft assigned to it.
