The first of September is the start of the school year 2020-2021

The Ministry of Education in Syria has fixed  the first of the next September as the start of the study year 2020-2021 in all public and private schools.

The ministry said in a statement today that, “the date of the start of the school year 2020-2021will be on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 in all public and private schools, in all their types and levels.

The Ministry of Education announced on the 22nd of this month  the health measures that will be taken for return to schools that is based on the preventive instructions issued by the Ministry of Health and international organizations on public health measures related to schools in the framework of tackling the Corona virus.
