The first of its kind in the world and with Syrian hands, a pharmaceutical preparation from the Damascene Rose

A group of Syrian inventors and researchers are working on a preparation of Shami “Damascene” rose water with pistachio peel extract and gum to introduce it later as a toothpaste for mouthwash, antiseptic and treatment for mouth wounds, receding gums and treatment for unpleasant odors .This idea was presented during the activities of the Al-Bassel Exhibition for Creativity and Invention.
A group of specialized scientific experts in Syrian universities presented the idea during the Al-Basel Exhibition for Creativity and Invention, and it is summarized in the introduction of a product of Shami “Damascene” rose water to prepare toothpaste and antiseptic mouthwash through the use of phenols. extracted from the Damascene rose. The product will be presented in pharmaceutical form “packages” for mouth rinses, oral gel and toothpaste for the care of the health of the mouth, tongue and teeth.
The idea received great support and interest from the Syria Trust for Development which would contribute to turning it into a project under implementation that would represent an important step for the effective investment of the Damascene Rose and make it an important economic supporter for farmers, manufacturers and those interested by making use of its products industrially, encouraging farmers to increase production and motivating others to enter the field of competition and offer products.
