The Festival of Embassies- Food, Culture kicks off in Prague with Syria’s participation

Prague – The Festival of Embassies- Food and Culture kicked off on Saturday in the Czech capital Prague with the participation of Syria.

The stand of the Syrian embassy in the festival, held under the title “Culture and Food Unify Peoples”, presents cultural shows about Syria with focus on the Syrian textile and food industries, the tourist and heritage sites as well as the Syrian cuisine and sweets.

The embassies and consulates of 52 countries are taking part in the festival which is being hosted by Prague 6th Municipal District and the Farmers Markets Association.

This annually event attracts some 15000 visitors from the Czech Republic and other countries, according to organizers.

The embassies festival will take place in the area of the Farmers Markets and in the adjacent meadows. A rich program is prepared for visitors, in which artists from selected represented countries will participate.
