The export exhibition for clothing and textiles launched in the exhibition city, with the participation of 250 industrialists

Damascus (ST): The activities of the “Made in Syria” exhibition for clothing, textiles, and export production requirements, spring-summer 2023, were launched on the the Fairgrounds in Damascus, with the participation of 250 industrialists. The exhibition, which is organized by the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry and Commerce and the Syrian Exporters Association for Apparel and Textile, extends over an area of 8,000 square meters, distributed over 5 halls for men’s, children’s and women’s clothing, and will continue until next Sunday.

The head of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry, Muhammad Ghazwan al-Masri, underlined the importance of the exhibition as a platform for exporting high-quality Syrian textile products to foreign markets through Arab businessmen, pointing to the remarkable turnout by merchants and customers since the first day of the exhibition who seek to sign contracts with industrialists.

Al-Masri referred to the importance of overcoming the obstacles facing the textile industry, especially the apparel industry, and providing the necessary support for it to be able to compete strongly in foreign markets.

President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Muhammad Abu al-Huda al-Lahham, referred to the good reputation of Syrian textile products in foreign markets for their quality, competitive prices and commitment to delivery times, underlining the importance of efforts to facilitate the transfer of goods to foreign markets.
