The Emirates Red Crescent expands its humanitarian programs during the month of Ramadan in the Syrian governorates

Lattakia (ST): The Emirates Red Crescent is working to expand its humanitarian programs in several Syrian governorates as part of important activities (The Gallant Knight), during the blessed month of Ramadan, with the aim of standing by the affected people and alleviating their suffering resulting from the earthquake.

The programs, which are held in coordination with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, include the distribution of approximately 30,000 fasting breakfast meals in the governorates of Aleppo, Homs, and Hama, in addition to the distribution of 75,000 fasting breakfast meals in the Lattakia governorate, the distribution of Ramadan food baskets, and the continuation of the distribution of free bread in the Jableh Automated Bakery.

The head of the Emirates Red Crescent delegation in Syria, Muhammad Al-Kaabi, said in a statement to news reporter: “In continuation of the directives of the wise leadership of the UAE to support the brothers in Syria during the recovery and rehabilitation phase, humanitarian initiatives continue, including Ramadan initiatives, which aim at distributing breakfast meals for fasting people, and distributing food parcels to families  affected by the earthquake.”
