The Emirates Red Crescent distributed Eid clothing

Lattakia (ST): As part of the mission of the Gallant Knight in Syria, the Emirates Red Crescent team continues to implement the (Eid clothing) initiative, which aims to distribute 11,000 shopping vouchers to 44,000 beneficiaries from the families affected by the earthquake, and cancer patients in the governorates affected by the earthquake last February.

In a statement to news reporter, the head of the Emirati Red Crescent delegation, Muhammad Al-Kaabi, confirmed that this humanitarian initiative is carried out in cooperation with the Syrian Red Crescent and the process of distributing vouchers is ongoing, as 4,500 purchase vouchers were distributed in Aleppo governorate, 3,500 in Lattakia, 1,500 in Homs, in addition to 1,500 vouchers in Hama. The value of each voucher is 500,000 Syrian pounds.

Al-Kaabi indicated that the initiative aims to provide the needs of families before the blessed Eid Al-Adha, as part of the UAE’s continuous humanitarian and relief efforts to relieve the affected families after the earthquake disaster and to stand by the Syrian brothers in their current circumstances.

For his part, the head of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, Eng. Khaled Hboubati, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Emirates Red Crescent, with the aim of alleviating the suffering of the affected families and bringing joy to their homes.

The beneficiary, Hind Ali, thanked the Emirati delegation for creating smiles and joy on the children’s faces in light of these difficult circumstances, and the two girls, Salami and Nour Ali expressed their happiness for being able to buy new clothes for Eid through this initiative.
