The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Damascus announces the names of the winners of the National Drawing Competition

Damascus (ST): The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela held an award ceremony for the winners of the national drawing competition, entitled “Chavez and Bolivar, Two Phases and One Thought,” with the participation of Syrian and Palestinian plastic artists, at its headquarters in Damascus.

The first prize in the competition was won by the plastic artist Muhammad Ali Aref, the second prize was won by Raneem Samir Abu Khalil, and the third prize went to Sarah Mahmoud Abu Shaar.

The embassy allocated a special award for the joint artwork presented by the plastic artists Yarub Maarouf and Jehan Qattan, in addition to the plastic artist Diana Badriya, while the audience award went to Ola Khaled Al-Zaybak and Rawan Al-Halawani.

In a statement to reporters, the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Damascus, Jose Gregorio Biomorji, indicated the importance of this event, which coincides with the resumption of the Venezuelan airline between Damascus and Caracas directly after a break of twelve years, as a bridge that brings together the two peoples, and forms hope, future, trust and breaking the restrictions in the face of everyone who tried to put them in the fate of these two countries.
